Guidelines

Over the years we've come to stand for - and against - several things. Although this site was originally created for entertainment purposes only, we've come to realize it can also be an educational and supportive site. We want to do all we can to help promote fat-positive awareness while breaking stereotypes of fat people. If we can pull it all together with a touch of our twisted senses of humor, we feel we've done our job.

That said, please take a moment to read over the following guidelines to get a better idea of where we stand on certain issues. If you see any inconsistencies on this site or have any questions, please Contact Us and let us know.

We ARE about: We are NOT about:
accepting and loving yourself unconditionally trying to fit into someone else's standards of what you should look like
having a positive body image hurting or shaming yourself or constantly obsessing about your appearance
living a healthy, active life regardless of your size being lazy, getting fatter on purpose, feeders or being a couch potato
being patient with yourself and taking care of yourself gastric bypass or other weight loss surgeries, fad diets or the latest miracle diet pill
spreading the message that Fat Girls are people too and we deserve to be loved and accepted and not rejected based on our size hatred, anger or ugliness whether it's directed at us or yourself (therefore, all hate mail will be laughed at and then promptly deleted)

Finally, please remember: we are NOT licensed therapists, doctors or nutritionists - we're just Fat Girls trying to spread a positive message. Any information you get from this site should be thoroughly discussed with your doctor before being put into practice. Please see our Disclaimer for more information.
