Fat Girls Rule! is a community of fat-positive people and we're always looking for new people to
help out and breathe new life into what we're doing. We are always open to feedback so please
always feel free to Contact Us with your ideas, suggestions and comments.
If you'd like to volunteer some of your time to FGR, we are currently looking for people to help
out with the following:
- Writers: The site desperately needs some new content. If you're creative and have some
time to give, we definitely want you on board - a twisted sense of humor is a big plus! Writing
possibilities include: a regular column of your own, helping out with a newsletter, song spoofs,
items to add to our Features section, submissions for our new Healthy
Eating and Get Active sections and anything else you can think of.
- Artists: If you're artistically talented, we could use your help
with some humorous artwork on the site. Possibilities include: a weekly cartoon, participating
in a weekly newsletter, random humorous fat-positive artwork and anything else you can think of.
- Researchers: We are always on the lookout for content
to add to the site whether it be links to other websites, articles, artwork or fat-positive
humor. All you'd have to do is go in search of these things and tell us where to find them so
we can add them. A good example would be the "Feed The Model" game link found on our
Links page.
- Testers: The site is always growing and changing and, as a result,
there are bound to be errors. Testers would need to check the site periodically and report any
errors, broken links, non-functioning pages, etc. to us.
- Advertisers: We need people to help promote the website. This could involve something
as simple as linking us from your own website to getting us affiliated with other fat-positive
sites. Wearing some of our merchandise doesn't hurt either! *wink*
