• That when Rob Estes has a shirtless scene, which is rare, there is always something covering up one of his pecs? Also, if he's wearing a tight tank top, he wears a shirt over it. There was a scene this week where he sat up from the couch and pulled his shirt over his chest on one side. If you are curious why, see the very end for the answer.
• Kyle seems to be calling Peter "Pete" regularly now, not just to irritate him?
• That we never find out what specialty they practice at Burns-Mancini? At first I thought General Internal Medicine, but I've seen them do surgery, deliver babies, give patients psychiatric medications....also, normally Peter (or a doctor in his place) would send someone out to a fertility specialist to be tested. (yes, I work at a hospital if you are wondering why I'm so nit-picky)
• Eve's nightmares sure came and went in the blink of an eye, didn't they? One minute it's "BITCH!" then she's baking cookies for Peter.
• In the flashback, Jane's hairstyle looked more like it was from the 60's than the 80's? And it didn't make her look any younger at all? (kinda matronly if you ask me) Plus, Michael's date looked 30-ish, when I assume they were supposed to be in college? And the movie was in color, not B&W?
• (I'm patting myself on the back for this one) In either the Official or the Unofficial Guide to Melrose Place published in 1994 I believe, there is a joke section where it lists movies on the rental lists of the characters.("The Lost Weekend" for Alison, etc). Guess what one of the movies Michael Mancini has on his rental list is? That's right, Indiscreet. I was gonna give the page #, etc but the book conveniently disappeared from my bookshelf as soon as I needed to look something up.
• Amanda is still very bitchy and rude to her staff even though she has vowed to 'focus on the fambly"?
• For some reason, the FOX Christmas promos are titled "FOX HOLIDAZE"?
• Lexi wrote a check for 50% of the balance at "Frosty's Forest Christmas Tree Farm" without finding out how much the balance was? (and he didn't even glance twice at the check, let alone ask for photo ID)
• That the movies on the marquee at the ol' "Melrose Multiplex" were:

  • The Lesser of Two (guess they ran out of room at that point)

• Jane was all girly and giddy for no apparant reason when she told Amanda how the office worker asked her out?
• That in the lab, the assistant gave Peter the results over the phone, but told him he'd need an authorization to release records? And that people working in a lab in close quarters with blood, urine, and God knows what else usually don't sit there eating sandwiches in the same room?
• That the "Next Time on Melrose Place" didn't have any Christmas music or references (except for the Santa) or say anything like, "It's Christmas at Melrose Place..." or "On a special Christmas Melrose Place..." this is the first year that they haven't done that. :- (

  --Oh, 'word has it' or a friend of a friend who worked on the show has said that Rob Estes doesn't do full-on shirtless scenes because one of his pectoral muscles is underdeveloped? Not that big of a deal, unless you're a soap star, I guess. I'm not saying he's deformed, I just thought it was interesting trivia.
